State Police arrest Liverpool man in connection with series of car break-ins in Jordan

Following a joint investigation by the New York State Police and Village of Jordan Police into several car break-ins during December, State Police today arrested James L. Susko, age 31, from Liverpool, NY (formerly of Jordan) for Grand Larceny 4th degree, a class “E” felony (theft of an automobile) and (4) counts of Petit Larceny, a class “A” misdemeanor. Susko is charged with stealing various items from vehicles in Jordan over the course of several nights in November and December in 2021.

Susko was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Elbridge Court on January 17, 2022, at 5 pm.

“This is an excellent example of cooperation between agencies getting results for our citizens,” said Edward Healy, Officer-in-Charge of the Jordan Police. “It’s not about who gets credit, it’s about holding people accountable for their actions.”

State Police and the Jordan Police Department wish to acknowledge the assistance of Christie Casciano and OnTheLookout.net for generating investigative leads after airing video footage of the suspect that resulted in a suspect being identified and an arrest made.
