State police are investigating after a vehicle wound up in Catherine Creek.
First responders were called to Maiden Lane for the report of an unoccupied vehicle in the water around 7 p.m.
The Millport and Odessa fire departments responded to the scene and helped with recovering the vehicle from Catherine Creek.
By Wednesday, a piece of the vehicle’s bumper and license plate were left in the water.
The investigation remains active. Police are seeking information on the driver of the vehicle. They were not located at the time of the incident.
It’s unclear how the vehicle wound up in the water.
