Disturbance interrupting traffic on Route 21 in Williamson leads to charges

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Williamson man following a disturbance on Wednesday.

According to deputies, Joshua Barber, 38, is accused of walking in the middle of Route 21 in Williamson, yelling and screaming obscenities while obstructing traffic.

He was charged with disorderly conduct.

It was also determined that he had an active warrant out of Newark, too. He was arrested, arraigned, then turned over to Newark Police to face charges there.

He will answer the charges at a later date in Williamson Court for the disturbance.
