Bills rush for four touchdowns to beat Falcons, clinch playoff spot (full coverage)

Josh Allen and Devin Singletary combined for 191 yards on the ground and four touchdowns as the Bills rushed their way to a 29-15 victory over the Atlanta Falcons at Highmark Stadium, clinching a playoff berth for the third straight season.

The Bills locked up the playoff berth with the win and the Ravens’ 20-19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. It is their fourth postseason appearance under Sean McDermott, who joins Marv Levy as the second coach to lead the franchise to the playoffs in four of his first five full seasons.

Buffalo can clinch a second straight AFC East title with a win at home against the New York Jets next Sunday or a New England loss at Miami.

The victory over Atlanta was Buffalo’s third in a row and 10th of the season. The Bills have earned 10 or more wins in three straight seasons for the first time since 1990 to 1993.

McDermott is one of three coaches with 10 or more wins in each of the last three seasons, along with Kansas City’s Andy Reid and Green Bay’s Matt LaFleur.
