Auburn police officers will begin wearing body cameras sometime in 2022.
Auburn City Clerk Chuck Mason says the city received a US Justice Department grant to purchase the body-worn cameras. He says the current former Police Chiefs and most of the officers are in favor of the idea.
The first cameras are expected to be delivered in the spring.
