Two more colleges have announced their back-to-school COVID-19 protocols for the spring semester.
The University of Rochester is joining the growing list of schools requiring students, faculty and staff to be vaccinated and boosted. The school says students who are not yet eligible for a booster must get one within 30 days of becoming eligible. Students who received religious or other exemptions from the original vaccine requirement will be exempt from the booster requirement, as well.
Syracuse, LeMoyne, Cazenovia, Ithaca and Cornell have announced similar requirements.
Elmira College is bucking the trend, announcing that students will return for in-person learning for the spring semester with no booster requirement. Elmira has scheduled on-campus vaccination clinics for January and February.
