Finally, kids have a way to ring in the new year without having to stay up until midnight.
The Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse is offering Noon Year’s Eve, a family friendly holiday event. The event begins Friday at 10AM with a dance party. Instead of champagne and a ball drop at midnight, families will get juice and a ball drop at 12 noon.
Admission is free to zoo members. It’s nine dollars for the general public, five dollars for kids 3-17 and for senior citizens and free for two and under, veterans and active military. Event goers are free to enjoy the zoo after noon. Masks are required in indoor spaces.
