Solar Village, the company that manufactures off-the-energy-grid homes in the town of Geneva, has received a grant from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to build a carbon neutral plant.
The Finger Lakes Times reports Timber Trails Forest Farm in Canandaigua also was awarded a NYSERDA carbon neutral grant.

The grants are among 19 announced by NYSERDA throughout the state.
