If you couldn’t get a COVID-19 vaccination appointment at the NY State Fairgrounds this week, try again.
NewYorkUpstate.com reports a thousand new appointment slots have been added for this Monday through Thursday. They are for the Pfizer booster for anyone 16 or older who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago or the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines at least six months ago. The vaccination site at the Art and Home Center, will also accept walk-ins.
To sign up for an appointment, go to the state health department’s vaccine website. Some area pharmacies are offering appointments, but many are booked up through the end of the year.
