Domestic incident leads to felony charge for Seneca Falls man

Deputies arrested a Seneca Falls man in Ontario County after a family trouble call on Thursday.

According to a news release from the department, Steven Knight, 37, of Seneca Falls was arrested on a felony count of aggravated family offense, as well as a criminal mischief charge.


The felony charge stems from Knight being arrested for criminal obstruction of breathing. Due to a previous conviction of sexual misconduct in 2018 – the most recent charge was elevated to the felony family offense.

The most-recent incident also took place in front of two 4-year-old children.

Knight was transported to the Ontario County Jail and held for arraignment.
