Two Syracuse men’s lacrosse players named preseason All-Americans

Two Syracuse midfielders were named to the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-America teams.

Junior Tucker Dordevic and senior Brendan Curry were honored with second and third team recognition respectively. Both players are in their fifth year with the program and were named captains this fall. Curry is the second three-time captain in program history.

Curry enters the 2022 season with 95 career points and 43-straight starts for the Orange. A three-time member of the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, Curry was an honorable mention All-American by USILA last year, marking his third-straight season earning All-America honors.

Dordevic enters the 2022 season as one of the nation’s most explosive athletes in the midfield. He has 65 career points, including 48 goals, through little more than two full seasons on the field, starting all-33 games he was active for, aside from a redshirt season in 2019.
