“The arts have long been a critical sector in our economy, and as we continue to rebuild a stronger New York, it’s essential we do all we can help this industry thrive once again,” New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said in announcing $45 million of NYSCA awards.
“We are grateful to the state Legislature and Gov. Kathy Hochul for recognizing the important role cultural institutions play in the state’s economy, and how the pandemic has affected us,” said Schweinfurth Executive Director Donna Lamb. “This grant will enable us to continue offering the top-quality classes and exhibits that we have become known for.”
