A Lyons man faces kidnapping and other charges after an alleged domestic incident.
The Wayne County Office of the Sheriff reports the arrest on Sunday December 19th, 2021 of a Town of Lyons man for Kidnapping in the second degree, Unlawful Imprisonment in the first degree, Assault in the third degree, Menacing in the second degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing/Blood Circulation and Criminal Mischief in the fourth degree.
Arrested was Caleb M. True, age 24 of Lyons following an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred from the evening of December 17th, 2021 to the morning of December 19th, 2021. It is alleged that Mr. True held the victim against her will, while threatening and causing physical harm to the victim. It is also alleged that he grabbed the victim by the throat restricting the victims breathing and threw the victims cell phone against a wall causing damage to the phone.
Mr. True was transported to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment on December 19th, 2021 at 7:00 PM.
