Geneva man charged with aggravated family offense, police say he violated order of protection

A Geneva man has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Family Offense.

On 12.10.2021 @ approximately 12:51pm, the Geneva Police Department Uniformed Division arrested the following individual on Aggravated Family Offense, an E Felony, Grand Larceny in
the 4th degree, an E Felony, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor.


The individual allegedly committed Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree, an A Misdemeanor, which is considered a specified offense, in section 240.75 of the NYS Penal Law, by intentionally
disobeying an Order of Protection and has been convicted of a specified offense in section 240.75 of the NYS Penal Law within the last 5 years. The individual also took the protected
party’s vehicle and drove away without the permission of the protected party while the individual had a Suspended License in New York State.
This was a result of a Domestic Incident.

Arrest 1: Brian Gomez, Geneva, NY, 30 YOA, Male.

Charges: Aggravated Family Offense, Grand Larceny 4th, E Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd, U Misdemeanor Held at the Ontario County Jail awaiting Arraignment.
