Deputies report the arrest of a Newark man following a vehicle and traffic complaint in Lyons.
According to a news release, Matthew Conlin, 22, was arrested by deputies after a call to 911 for an erratic driver on Route 31.
Deputies located the vehicle on Route 14 in Sodus after it had left the shoulder of the road and struck a utility pole.
Deputies say Conlin was found to be operating the vehicle and admitted to stealing it a short time before being located.
Conlin was charged with criminal possession of stolen property. The charge will be answered at a later date.
