Webster woman charged with petit larceny

A Webster woman is charged with petit larceny after a report of the theft of money from the Pit Stop convenience store where she worked in Ontario.

Deputies arrested Tasha M. Durand, age 35, of Webster after she reportedly stole money from the Pit Stop where she was employed. It is alleged that over an 11 day period, Durand stole more than $330 by completing fradulent customer returns and voids.


Durand was charged with one count of Petit Larceny and transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing. She was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Town Court on January 5th at 1:00PM to answer to the charge.
