The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a Clyde man following a larceny investigation that started a year ago at the Walmart in Seneca Falls.
Laquan Whitfield, 34, is accused of working with another person to change the price tags on merchandise in the store and by doing so, failed to pay the right price for several items.
He left the scene and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
While the original incident took place in December 2020, police took Whitfield into custody on Thursday. He was being held at the Wayne County Jail on an unrelated charge.
He was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, conspiracy, and petit larceny.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
