Deputies say an employee of the Pit Stop gas station in Ontario was arrested after an investigation into stolen money.
Tasha Durand, 35, of Webster is accused of stealing money from the gas station where she was employed. It’s alleged that over an 11 day period – Durand took more than $330 by completing fraudulent customer returns and voids.
She was charged with petit larceny and transported to the county jail for processing.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
