Clifton Springs woman charged with aggravated DWI after crash in Hopewell

A Clifton Springs woman was taken into custody on drunk driving charges after a minor crash in Hopewell.

Deputies say that around 7 p.m. Julie Ann Wagner, 47, of Clifton Springs was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

The arrest follows an investigation into a single-car crash on 5&20 in Hopewell.

Wagner was found to have operated a vehicle in an intoxicated condition, traveled off the roadway, and struck a sign.


Wagner was issued traffic citations for DWI, aggravated DWI, and having a BAC over 0.18%.

She was issued traffic tickets to answer the charges at a later date.
