The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 44-year-old Geneva man following an incident that took place in Fayette.
Deputies say Dominick D’Eredita III, 44, was charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief.
The charges stem from an incident on County Road 121. He’s accused of breaking the door handle of a vehicle and reaching into an open window to grab the driver’s arm.
He then recklessly opened the door of a second moving vehicle and tried to take control of the moving vehicle- putting both he and the driver in danger.
As defense, the driver had to speed up and drag D’Eredita along to fend him off.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
