The Cayuga Nation is selling marijuana.
Using its sovereign status, the Nation has begun selling marijuana in Cayuga and Seneca counties.
The tribe operates stores in Seneca Falls and Union Springs.
The final confirmation came in an Instagram post by the managers of Lakeside Trading, which is owned and operated by the Cayuga Nation.
Non-tribal businesses will have to wait for New York State to finish setting up the legal framework for them to sell marijuana legally.
