State police arrested a Scottsville man following an investigation in the town of Ontario, Wayne County.
On Sunday around 1:30 p.m. troopers received a report of a blue sedan wanted in connection to a larceny from the Tractor Supply store in Ontario.
The two occupants had stolen Dewalt tools from the Tractor Supply location on Lincoln Road and Route 104.
Ricky Knox, 34, of Scottsville was arrested for petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. He also had a warrant out for his arrest.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
No further information was provided about the second alleged suspect in the incident.
