Seneca Falls man faces charges after having contact with person protected by court order

Police arrested a 35-year-old Seneca Falls man on misdemeanor charges after a domestic incident on Saturday.

Around 3:54 p.m. police arrested James Dyer, 35, following a domestic dispute.

During the dispute, Dyer had contact with a female victim where an active court order prevented it.

Dyer was placed into custody on one count of criminal contempt.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
