Rushville man charged with felony DWI after traffic stop in Farmington

Police arrested a Rushville man for DWI as a felony following a traffic stop in the town of Farmington.

On Friday around 5 p.m. troopers arrested James Cator, 31, of Rushville for DWI, as a felony, due to a conviction in the last decade.

According to troopers, Cator was stopped on Route 332 in Farmington for a traffic violation.

He failed a series of field sobriety tests, which resulted in his arrest.

He was taken to State Police HQ in Canandaigua for processing where he refused a breath test.

Troopers say Cator was arraigned and released.
