Geneva woman arrested for threatening Penn Yan worker over email

The Penn Yan Police Department reports the arrest of a Geneva woman following an incident at a local business.

Shaqundra Singleton, 27, of Geneva was charged with aggravated harassment after sending an email – threatening physical harm – to an employee at a village business.

Police say the victim was in fear of their physical safety.


Singleton was taken into custody by Geneva police and turned over to authorities in Penn Yan.

She was transported to the Yates County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
