Ontario woman charged with felony DWI, driving away from deputies during traffic stop

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Ontario woman following a traffic stop on Walworth-Marion Road at State Route 21 in Marion.

Holley Fisher, 35, was arrested for felony DWI, unsafe backing, moving from lane unsafely, disobeying a police officer, and failure to notify DMV of an address change.

According to deputies, Fisher was stopped after a report of an unsafe driver was called to 911. She then drover her vehicle off the roadway on Route 21 and drove away from deputies when they attempted a traffic stop.

She was eventually stopped and found to be intoxicated. Deputies said the DWI charge was elevated to a felony count due to a conviction in the last decade.

Fisher was processed and held at the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment.
