The spread of COVID-19 has been so rapid in Colorado that every vaccinated adult is now eligible for the booster shot.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is taking guidance from the CDC and asking all adults between 18 and 64 to get a booster regardless of risk, employment, or living situations.
A public health order will stop any vaccine provider from refusing boosters to anyone.
Colorado is also looking at cancelling all events that could cause significant spread like hockey games in arenas.
North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, New Hampshire and Alaska are close to that number.
Experts are struggling to find the reason for the spread.
