A new study shows that if you’re unvaccinated you are 20 times more likely to die of COVID-19.
The study was released from the Texas Department of State Health Services.
Not only are the 20 times more likely to die, but 12 times more likely to become infected in comparison to vaccinated people.
People are urged to still practice measures put in place to protect themselves from the spread of COVID, like social distancing and masks.
Vaccinated people are also still at risk, even if not as high. Many that become infected with breakthrough cases are mildly sick, but the risk for death and complication is there.
