The second to last payment for the 2021 child tax credits will be next week on Nov. 15. Families will receive up to $300 per child.
This is part of the Biden administration’s American Rescue Act that went into effect in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Families started getting payments in July of 2021 and will continue until they get their last one in December.
The second half of the child tax credits will be paid in April of 2022 when taxes are filed.
Four payments have been sent so far, and next week will be the fifth, before the final payment.
Payments are sent either with direct deposit or paper check by mail.
When do I get my November child tax credit payment?
Those who receive payments will see their next payment Nov. 15. Many people have reported issues with getting them on time though.
For September’s payments, people that would normally get direct deposit ended up getting paper checks as a result of the issue.
Exact time of day isn’t clear, but keep a lookout starting Nov. 15.
