Three people were arrested and one person was charged with attempted murder after a shooting early Sunday morning in Geneva.
Police say that on Sunday around 1:43 a.m. officers responded to an area of Geneva Street for the report of shots fired.
The victims interviewed by police said they were driving on Geneva Street when individuals they knew shot at their vehicle as they drove by.
Several search warrants were obtained for a specific residence, as well as vehicles where two handguns were seized.
No one was injured during the incident, police said in a news release.
Through the course of the investigation, it was determined to be an isolated incident.
The following individuals were arrested and charged:
– Jordan Spearman, 25, of Geneva was charged with attempted murder.
– Carrington Johnson, 31, of Geneva was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
– Hollie DeWitt, 31, of Geneva was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
All of the charges were felony counts, according to police. They said all three were taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
Assisting Geneva Police were the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Seneca Falls Police Department, and New York State Police.
