Black minivan sought by troopers after hit-and-run on interstate outside Syracuse

State police are investigating a hit and run crash that happened around 2:18 p.m. on Monday.

According to troopers three vehicles were involved, and a mini van fled the scene after the crash in Geddes.

The investigation has determined an unknown black mini-van was racing another gold mini-van east on I-690 when the black mini-van struck the rear end of a 2004 Landrover, operated by Barry A. Woodward and then struck a 2014 Honda operated by Brad D. Howes, causing the Honda CRV to spin and rollover.

No injuries were reported in the crash. The black and gold mini-vans both left the scene.

If anyone has any information about the crash or the black mini-van that struck both vehicles, they are asked to contact State Police at (315) 366-6000.

State Police were assisted at the scene by the Geddes Police Department.
