Bills guard Jon Feliciano week-to-week with calf injury

The Buffalo Bills didn’t leave their 26-11 win over the Miami Dolphins totally unscathed. Near the end of the game, offensive guard Jon Feliciano limped off the field, and spent the remainder of the afternoon stretching his leg on the bench. According to head coach Sean McDermott, Feliciano has a calf strain, and it will have him “week-to-week”—meaning he’ll miss the next game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Bills already did some offensive line shuffling with right tackle Spencer Brown missing the Dolphins game with a back injury. It sounds like Brown is on the right track, but the first test will be practicing on Wednesday without a setback. If Brown can play, then the Bills will plug Ike Boettger into Feliciano’s left guard position, and return the right side of their line to the typical Daryl Williams-Spencer Brown pairing. If Brown is out, then someone else needs to fill in on the line. Cody Ford at right guard, most likely, but the Bills also have Ryan Bates and Tommy Doyle to work with (along with guard Jamil Douglas on the practice squad).
