Shooting outside Walmart leaves teenager dead and father injured

Four people have been arrested for a shooting that happened outside of a Walmart in Burlington Township, New Jersey. The shooting left 17-year-old Albert Williams of Hammonton, New Jersey dead and his father injured.

Kayhree Simmons, 19, Jayviyohn J. Earley, 19, Kweli L. McCants, 20, and Azza Kamnaksh, 19, all of Willingboro, New Jersey have all been arrested and charged.

The shooting happened on Oct. 7 a little after 10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter.


The teenager was announced dead at the hospital and the father was treated before being released.

The four people had planned to meet in the parking lot before an argument began. Gunfire followed.

Simmons is facing murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, conspiracy to commit robbery, hindering and obstruction.

Earley is facing murder and conspiracy to commit robbery. He was also charged with drug and firearm charges that were discovered during the investigation of the shooting.


McCants is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and hindering. He is also facing additional charges that were discovered during the Walmart investigation including possession of a large capacity ammunition magazine as well as possession of a controlled substance.

Kamnaksh is charged with hindering and obstruction as well as charges for drugs and firearms also discovered during the investigation.
