Governor Kathy Hochul visited Alabama, New York on Wednesday to announce a major green energy development that will be in the area.
A $290 million green energy hydrogen substation will be built in the area of Genesee County.
It will be the largest facility of its kind in the nation, built by Plug Power right in town.
With it will come 68 new jobs and $2 million in Excelsior Tax Credits.
