The leader of the Cayuga County Legislature has tested positive for COVID-19.
The news broke over the weekend when Aileen McNabb-Coleman announced on social media that she had contracted the virus.
The chairperson of the county’s legislative body said she took an at home COVID-19 test on October 9.
She is the latest official to test positive for the virus.
McNabb-Coleman says she lost her ability to taste and smell, which prompted her to take a test.
