The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on October 15 around 4:30 p.m. deputies responded to a two car crash at the intersection of State Route 96 and Brewer Road in Waterloo.
A vehicle operated by Stacey Remillard, 52, of Andover was traveling north on Brewer Road when the vehicle came to a stop at the intersection with State Route 96.
Deputies say the driver then continued traveling north, crossing over Route 96 to Whiskey Hill Road.
Another vehicle, operated by Jeffrey Payne, 46, of Seneca Falls struck Remillard’s causing extensive damage to both.
The vehicles were towed from the scene and Payne was transported to Geneva General Hospital.
Assisting at the scene was Waterloo Police Department, North Seneca Ambulance, and Waterloo Fire Department.
Deputies say Remillard failed to yield the right of way, causing the crash.
