HoganWillig law firm is representing a group of parents against the mask mandate for their children in schools.
One of the things partner Corey Hogan referenced when addressing the state Supreme Court Justice Christina Ryba was that there is no viral transmission problem in schools and that studies show masks don’t work.
He asked for a preliminary injunction for a restraining order against the mask mandate in schools.
Ryba denied the temporary restraining order.
The trend appears to be judges siding with the state on keeping masks mandated within schools, citing the CDC and their data that says masks keep people safe from the spread of COVID-19.
Hogan says others are filing cases in favor of getting rid of the mask mandate as well.
