United Airlines recently placed workers on unpaid leave that were seeking religious and medical exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccine, but a federal judge blocked the ban.
Employees are suing the airline over the mandate, and their lawyers said the airline originally said they would not be placing workers on unpaid leave.
The restraining order was extended, but it expires Oct. 26, which will put workers on unpaid leave or force them to get a vaccination.
