Want your packages shipped by Christmas? USPS has released the deadlines

Mail your packages by these dates:

  • Dec. 17, USPS First Class Mail
  • Dec. 21, FedEx Express Saver
  • Dec. 23 USPS Priority Mail Express, and UPS Next Day Air
  • Christmas Eve: FedEx Same Day
  • Alaska and Hawaii’s deadlines differ.

Alaska:

  • Dec. 18, Priority and First Class Mail
  • Dec. 21, Priority Mail Express

Hawaii:

  • Dec. 17, Priority Mail and First Class Mail

By going to the USPS website people can print shipping labels and arrange for their package to be picked up right at their home.

Dec. 19 is predicted to be the busiest day for the industry.

Post Office traffic will start to pick up Dec. 6 with the busiest week likely to be Dec. 13-18.
