The White House has announced that major retailers will be working diligently to help resolve the supply chain issues currently impacting the United States.
President Joe Biden met with CEOs of major places like Walmart and FedEx to devise a plan.
A senior administration official said the bottlenecking issue lies within the private sector, therefore the three largest good carriers will resolve the issue.
Walmart, UPS, and FedEx will be working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get the issue under control. Target, Samsung, and Home Depot will likely follow suit.
Many ports will also be staffed 24/7 to keep supplies moving.
While this is being handled, trucking is being looked into next.
