Three men, two being teens, arrested in Montour Falls after committing a burglary

Two teenagers were arrested for burglary after running from police on foot in Montour Falls.

Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary in progress around 6:20 p.m. on Oct. 3.

Upon arrival, an open window and unsecured door were found in the building.




While searching, three men were seen running from the complex and initiated a foot pursuit.

All three were apprehended and taken into custody.

Donald Ball, 21, of Montour Falls, a 17-year-old from Montour Falls, and Rilee Kuparinen, 18, of Cayuta, have been charged with third degree burglary and fourth degree criminal mischief.

All three were released with appearance tickets and the minor was released through the Schuyler County Youth Part Court.
