Binghamton hospital workers who have been suspended over the vaccine mandate are suing Governor Kathy Hochul.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is helping the group of healthcare workers.
Kennedy promotes anti-vaccine rhetoric and is an attorney for the four unnamed hospital workers at Lourdes Hospital.
The workers are comprised of two doctors, a nurse, and a scientist. All are Catholic.
The angle for this lawsuit is using comments Hochul made at the Christian Cultural Center on Sept. 26 when she said God answered prayers by creating the vaccine and there are people not listening to God.
The lawsuit explains that because the workers religious views don’t align with Hochul’s or the Pope’s, their religious rights are being infringed upon.
This is just one of many lawsuits against Hochul regarding religious exemptions.
