Children in need of mental health help as they deal with aftershock of pandemic

The pandemic has taken a toll on everyone, but it’s really caused children to need help with their mental health.

UNICEF has begun to study what’s going on in kids heads due to the impact of the pandemic shattering the world around them as they knew it.

According to 13 WHAM, psychiatrists have seen signs of deteriorating mental health in the form of anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and eating disorders triggered by being cut off from friends, regular life, and even COVID killing their family members.

As of right now, it’s hard to say how much damage has been done to the mental health of children or when they may recover.
