The National Retail Federation shares that $10.14 billion dollars will be spent on Halloween this year, with a large chunk of it going toward costumes.
65% of Americans plan to participate in Halloween this year compared to the 58% in 2020.
Before the pandemic, 68% planned to participate in 2019.
People are likely to participate more because they missed out last year, and retailers have started selling Halloween items earlier.
