Two teenagers in Rochester have been arrested for criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, unlawful fleeing, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 30, State Police attempted to stop a car for a traffic infraction on Joseph Avenue in Rochester.
The driver attempted to flee before running out of gas on Mazda Terrace.
The two occupants fled on foot and as the 15-year-old were running, one threw a loaded hand gun before being caught.
The teens were given tickets to appear in the City of Rochester Court.
