The Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act makes it so medical marijuana recipients can grow up to 6 plants at home once the Office of Cannabis Management issues regulations and 6 months have passed after the bill is signed.
The 6 months are up but there are still no regulations.
State Senator Diane Savino says they are slightly behind but she is not concerned about catching up.
The Cannabis Control Board will oversee both the recreational and medical marijuana programs.
The control board will hold their first public meeting Oct. 5.
Hopefully come Tuesday, medical marijuana patients will have better clarification on growing plants at home.
