Man arrested after failing to report address change as a registered sex offender

A man has been arrested for failing to register as a sex offender after moving.

On Wednesday, Sept. 29, Charles Mills, 62, was arrested after failing to report his address change.

The arrest stems from an investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office following Mills’ move from Farmington to Geneva and not reporting his address change within ten days.

Mills was taken into custody without incident and taken to Ontario County Jail.

He will appear in the Farmington Town Court at a later date.
