After admitting to stealing over $108,000 dollars from residents of St. Mark’s Terrace, a Penn Yan woman is sentenced to time in prison.
Amy Wetmore was sentenced to 3 to 9 years for charges of grand larceny, scheming to defraud, and forgery.
Wetmore, who lives in Phelps, was suspended from her position as the director of the program before being fired.
State Police were then contacted by St. Mark’s officials in 2018.
On top of prison Wetmore was ordered to pay back the money.
