Cayuga County schools are reporting over 100 new cases of COVID in just two weeks, with cases in every school district in Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES system except one.
Auburn Enlarged City School District has reported 59 total cases between Sept. 13 and 26, spread throughout all of their buildings with the most in the high school.
Out of all districts in the area there were 107 reported cases with Auburn having the most, followed by Port Byron and Weedsport, both of which had 11 cases in their districts. Cato-Meridian had 7 cases, Union Springs had 6, Jordan-Elbridge had 5, Moravia had 3, and Skaneateles had 2.
The only district to report no cases was Southern Cayuga.
All cases are reported to the state after testing for contact tracing and to record the data.
