The Aldi located in Hornell will be closed between Sept. 28 and Nov. 3 for remodeling.
Updates include open ceilings and lighting with additional storage for better restocking of produce and meats.
Aaron Sumida, Aldi Tully Division vice president, suggests that shoppers find the nearest Aldi to continue their shopping until renovations are done.
Employees of the Hornell Aldi have the option of working at nearby stores until theirs reopens.
A grand reopening will be held Nov. 4, and Aldi plans to open around 100 more stores this year in other states.
There are 2,000 stores spread out over 37 states and the company will likely be the third largest grocery retailer of 2022.
The company also plans to continue to focus and expand on curbside pickup, something that became especially popular during the pandemic.
